The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 today, bringing an end to the anxious wait of over 13 lakh students who appeared for the examination.

The declaration follows the release of the final answer key on July 1, in which the NTA withdrew 27 questions after evaluating the objections raised by candidates. The result date was officially confirmed by the agency on July 2.

The CUET UG 2025 examination was conducted between May 13 and June 4 across multiple centers in India. The test was held in two sessions each day: 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. This national-level entrance exam plays a pivotal role in undergraduate admissions across more than 250 universities, including central, state, and private institutions.

Exam Structure and Subject Options

The CUET UG 2025 was designed to provide students with broad flexibility in subject choice, irrespective of their Class 12 stream. The exam was held for a total of 37 subjects, including:

  • 13 Indian languages

  • 23 domain-specific subjects

  • 1 General Aptitude Test

Candidates were allowed to choose up to five test papers, making the examination inclusive and adaptable to a wide range of academic backgrounds.

Result Access and Next Steps

Once declared, candidates can access their scorecards on the official CUET UG website using their login credentials. The result will determine eligibility for admission into various undergraduate programmes across participating universities.

Counselling and admission procedures will follow shortly after the result announcement, and candidates are advised to keep an eye on updates from their preferred universities.
